East High School alumnus Brandon Cash of Rockford, Illinois, has passed away.
He died on Saturday, January 7, 2023, surrounded by those he loved. Becki Wright shared the news of Brandon Cash’s death in a Facebook publication that says, “I truly don’t have many words right now.” Since everything is happening so quickly and we are still working on an obituary, I wanted to get the information out sooner for services.
My best friend, my sweet brother Brandon Cash, passed away on January 7. Sundberg Funeral Home in Rockford will hold a visitation on Friday, January 13, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Funeral/Mass is Saturday, January 14, at 11 a.m. at St. James in Rockford.
Brandon Cash was a native and resident of Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from East High School. He brought a great deal of happiness to a huge number of people thanks to his wonderful talents and the wonderful friendships he fostered. He was a kind and cheerful soul who brightened many lives the moment he entered it.
His laugh, his enthusiasm, and his personality were all infectious to anybody who had the pleasure of knowing him and sharing a good time with him.
Brandon Cash was an optimistic young man who accepted life as it came and never let anything get him down. The people closest to him and his loved ones will be profoundly affected by his passing. In every way, Brandon Cash was an ideal young man.
Unlike most people, he had the rare ability to make everyone feel comfortable almost immediately.
