Chris Bradley Dies in Deadly Car Accident, Declan Nerney Band Drummer

Tragic Loss of Declan Nerney Band’s Drummer, Chris Bradley

The world of country music is mourning the loss of a talented musician as Chris Bradley, the drummer for Declan Nerney’s band, met a tragic end in a road crash. Declan Nerney, an Irish country music sensation, expressed his devastation over this untimely loss.

Chris Bradley, a married father in his 30s hailing from Desertmartin, Co Derry, lost his life in a road crash that occurred in Co Louth. The tragic incident unfolded as Chris, alongside fellow band members Bob Hunt and Jerome McBride, was returning home following their performance at Tougher’s of Naas, Co Kildare.

The collision took place in the early hours of the morning, at around 2 am, on the M1 northbound between Junctions 12 and 14 at Mooremont, Co Louth. Tragically, Chris Bradley, who was a passenger in the car, did not survive the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardai, the Irish police, confirmed that the two other male occupants of the vehicle, aged in their 20s and 60s, were transported to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

This marks the second heartbreaking tragedy for Declan Nerney’s band. In 2015, the band lost drummer Martin O’Connor, aged 36, in a hit-and-run incident that occurred in North Lauderdale, Florida, while on a working trip with the legendary entertainer.
