According to recent accounts, Chuck Norris had to be revived twice in a matter of minutes! He experienced two very serious heart attacks, according to a source close to the celebrity, and miraculously recovered.
As the man fought for life, there was even a 240-mile-long frenzied ambulance and helicopter sprint to the hospital.
The friend said that despite having major health concerns, which would have killed most men his age, Norris was able to survive because he was in such good physical shape.
Chuck Norris heart attack: What happened to Chuck Norris?
The man, his wife, and a small number of other family members had just returned from a Las Vegas event and were staying at a motel in a remote part of Nevada when the heart attacks occurred. After traveling nine houses to get home, they decided that a nap would be welcome.
Norris’ wife checked everyone in the hotel, which also featured a casino downstairs and where the man went to unwind for a couple of hours, at around 1:30 A.M.
But at around 5:30 in the morning, Chuck Norris began experiencing horrible chest pains while taking a shower, and he eventually passed out.
The rescue team transported him to Grant General Hospital in Hawthorne, Nevada, but he had already stopped breathing by that point.
The powerless wife watched in tears and terror as the doctors used a defibrillator to restart his heart.
He had a second heart attack at the hospital but was again stabilized and sent by chopper to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.
