Jeremy Sochan was born to a mother named Aneta and a father named Ryan Williams.
His mother was a Polish basketball player who went to America to study. While she was there, she met Ryan Williams, who is American.
Sochan began playing basketball whilst living in Southampton and playing for the Solent Kestrels youth team. Later, he moved to Milton Keynes and began playing for the MK Trojans.
He began his high school career at La Lumiere School in Indiana. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he left America. He later committed to playing college basketball for Baylor in July 2020.
