On December 25, 1946, the late Jimmy Buffett was born to his parents – James Delaney Buffett, Jr. and Mary Lorraine Peets Buffett in Pascagoula, Mississippi, United States.
Jimmy was a famous American singer-songwriter, musician, author, and businessman. It is, however unfortunate that we will not hear any new songs from him since he is no more. Jimmy is said to have passed away “surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs” on September 1, 2023, at the age of 76.

The two were supportive parents who were supportive of their son’s career from day one of it. They were happily married for years and had two children – the late Jimmy and his sister who has been identified as Laurie Buffett.
Delaney Buffett, Jr. (J.D.) who worked for the Army Corps of Engineers. He is no more since he passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2003, from Alzheimer’s disease, he was 83. He was a native of Pascagoula, MS and a resident of Point Clear, AL.
Mary on the other hand is also no more. She passed away on September 25 at the age of 82, four months after the death of her husband. ‘
They have four grandchildren from their two children and they are; Sarah Delaney Buffett, Savannah Buffett, Cameron Marley Buffett and Anne McGuane.
