The shooter’s victim, a Ripley, Mississippi, resident named Kirby Carpenter, was identified as the victim.
Approximately two miles from Pine Grove School, on County Road 600, he is said to have been discovered dead. The TCSO and the coroner’s office have not yet made any information about the homicide public as of the time of this writing.

All I can advise is to not have high expectations. Tippah County is the area in question here. They didn’t even let the man see the cells after my best friend was killed; they just let him go golfing. I wouldn’t be astonished if everything wasn’t forgotten about in a few weeks.

According to accounts, a shooting near the campus in Mississippi resulted in the lockdown of the school. A body was also discovered there.
According to school officials, a school in Tippah County was put on a “soft lockdown.” There was no longer a lockdown at the school as of 2:00.
There was a lockdown at Pine Grove School, which is close to Ripley. Two miles away from the school, a residence had a substantial police and emergency personnel presence at 2 o’clock. A body, according to sources, was discovered at the house.
