Matteo Guendouzi was born to a Moroccan family On April 14, 1999, in Poissy, France. His father and French mother came to France while he was young.
After playing for Lorient for two seasons, he signed a deal with Arsenal of England in 2018. Although the transfer fee was not made public, it is estimated to be close to 7 million pounds. Despite only recently joining Arsenal, he significantly impacted the group. He has also participated in several French youth international teams. He has not yet played for the world-champion senior team, Les Bleus. He has Moroccan ancestry, and the national team’s coach in Morocco approached him about joining the team. But he decided to play for France.
