Tuesday morning in Mansfield, a woman from Willington perished in a collision.
Just before 10:30 a.m., according to state police, 39-year-old Vanessa Rivero was traveling north on Route 32 near Mansfield City Road in a Volkswagen Jetta when she crossed into the southbound lane, collided head-on with a GMC Sierra, and then struck a railing.

According to state police, Rivero passed away there.
The other motorist, a 42-year-old Lebanon male with non-life-threatening injuries, was transferred to Windham Hospital.
