Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings is the second daughter of former head of state and president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
Yaa has three siblings; Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, Amina Rawlings and Kimathi Rawlings.
Born in Accra, Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings schooled at Achimota Primary and North Ridge Lyceum.
She had her secondary education at Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast and graduate in 1998.
She continued her education at Trinity College, University of Dublin in Ireland. She graduated in 2003 with Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies.
She furthered her education, doing her Masters’ degree at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts and graduating with M.A in International Communication & International Relations.
Yaa Asantewaa Rawlings currently works at her father’s office as a Business Affairs Executive.
